who do not have PowerPoint installed
on their computers. When you post
presentations on the Internet, you can
include the PowerPoint Viewer to
expand your online audience to people
who might not have PowerPoint, or to
those with different versions. You can
use this viewer to view files created
in both PowerPoint for Windows® and
PowerPoint for the Macintosh.

Download the file from this page
by clicking the Download button
(above) above and following the
instructions in the dialog boxes.
Close any Windows-based programs
that are running.
Double-click the Ppview97.exe
program file on your hard disk to
start the setup program.
Follow the instructions on the
screen to complete the installation.
Instructions for use:
On the Start menu, point to Programs,
and then click Microsoft PowerPoint
Viewer 97. The viewer will start and
allow you to choose a PowerPoint file to
view.
To remove this download:
On the Start menu, point to
Settings, and then choose Control
Panel. Double-click Add/Remove
Programs.
In the list of programs on the Install/Uninstall
tab, find Microsoft
PowerPoint Viewer 97 and
highlight it. Click Add/Remove.
In the Microsoft PowerPoint
Viewer 97 Setup dialog box,
click Remove All.
Confirm that you are certain you
want to uninstall this software by
clicking Yes.
Click Restart Windows or Exit
Setup in the dialog box.
